The challenge

The client needed a 20ft container as a workshop at the rear of a narrow Nerang block. The only vehicle access was a single-width driveway already occupied by a carport, and the container had to clear a 1.8m timber fence and an established mango tree to land on four concrete piers.

How we did it

We set up on the street with the legs plated to protect the kerb and verge, measured the reach to the piers before lifting, and took the container up and over the fence line in a single controlled swing. The operator worked with the owner spotting at the rear so the doors ended up facing the right way.

The outcome

The container was set down square and level on all four piers first go, with no damage to the fence, the tree or the driveway. The owner was able to fit it out the same week.
