The bayside and Redlands corridor covers two quite different kinds of site: the older bayside streets around Wynnum and Manly, and the newer and semi-rural Redlands blocks running south through Capalaba, Cleveland, Thornlands and Victoria Point. Older bayside streets vs newer Redlands blocks
Wynnum, Manly and Lota are established, close-set streets — often narrow frontages, overhead lines, mature trees and a house between the truck and the drop zone, so the set-up position does most of the work. Heading south through Thornlands, Victoria Point and Redland Bay there is more room, but the loads tend to go further from the gate, which makes reach the deciding factor rather than access.
